Shooting Star Trails

I had the opportunity to go out and spend some time in the early morning hours with a couple of pro-wedding photographers who wanted to shoot some star trails. We had a good time visiting while our cameras snapped away shooting 30 second photos for a total of 90 minutes.

There’s a Storm (but no rain for us…)

On June 5th, there was a nice looking cloud that moved in to the east of Midland. While it didn't make it and give us any rain, it certainly showed off, especially when the sunset happened.

Lake Wichita (Wichita Falls, TX)

I spent some time out at Lake Wichita in Wichita Falls, TX. They're in quite a drought, so the lake level was really low. This let me get some pretty good photos by the old pier. Plus it didn't hurt there was an amazing sunset going on at the same time.
