Last night I woke up at 2:15am. Wide awake. I layed in bed until 3am, and decided enough was enough. I got on the computer a little bit, but then decided to go take photos of the stars. Midland is extremely quiet at 3:15am, almost like a ghost town. I headed to my usual spot to take photos of the stars. Instead of using the 75-300mm lens, I opted for the 50mm f/1.8. I was pretty impressed with the results. Using the larger lens, I had to wait longer for a decent picture. Using the 50mm, I only had to use 8-10 second exposures.
